Hello! from our Project Team at BoKlok on the Lake. Welcome to our regular site update newsletter, which we use to keep you up to date with works on and around the development.
1) New welfare & office cabins are now in place.
2) Block 3 scaffold is in progress with the crane & module deliveries starting Monday 11th July and continuing regularly for the following 3 weeks.
The modules will be craned into place – a bit like Lego! Make sure you get down and see them being put into place.
3) Gate 2 will be in use from Monday 11th July. Please take care when using the footpath on Fulbeck Avenue
4) Block 2 groundwork & foundations are in progress, with module deliveries due to start in September 2022.
5) Early stage groundworks have begun on phase 2. Drainage & roadways are built first.
In April, we visited The Laurels School in Worthing to run our Homes for the Future session with their Year 3 and Year 4 pupils.
We shared why building good quality, sustainable housing is so important, while also introducing them to the built environment in an engaging and inspiring way.
As a result of the session, we’ve now put the pupils’ designs on our hoarding on Fulbeck Avenue.
