Hello! from our Project Team at BoKlok on the Brook.

We are aware that new developments can cause disruption for nearby residents and we have appreciated your continued patience. At BoKlok, we complete as much as 90% of the homes in a factory, in a dry and safe environment, so the majority of the building work is completed off-site. This means we cannot only reduce the build time, but we can significantly reduce waste. The homes are then delivered to site as near complete units – something many of you are likely to have witnessed.

While we aim to do all we can to minimise disruption during our time on-site, please do not hesitate to contact us with any specific questions or concerns you may have.

Community Update: Zoom Event

We will be holding another Online Community Update event on Tuesday 16th November @ 5pm-6pm. The event will include a site update from Senior Project Manager, Tim Smith, and a community update from Community Engagement Lead, Harry O’Conor. Local residents are encouraged to attend to ask questions or raise concerns.

We will be posting details for registration on our community page. Make sure you check there for details on how to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!

Partnership with Bristol Charity

We’re delighted to be partnering with the charity, Bristol Uniform Exchange. They aim to provide access to free school uniform items to support families across the city. This alleviates the financial burden of uniform cost, but also helps the planet by reusing and recycling items that might otherwise go to waste! So far, they’ve directly helped over 320 families access uniform items and accessories.

Founder, Kirsty Clark says, “We are thrilled about our new and first partnership with a fantastic company BoKlok. We are looking forward to working with the BoKlok team and continuing to grow and support our group members and families across Bristol.”
