Land Partnerships

At BoKlok, we work with a number of partners, who assist us in achieving our goal: to deliver high quality, sustainable new homes, while making home ownership more accessible for more people.

We are always interested in exploring new partnerships with organisations such as local authorities and housing associations, that will allow us to deliver more affordable homes across the country. Read more about our existing partnerships with VIVID, the leading provider of affordable homes and housing-related services in the south of England and Abri, one of the largest housing associations in the south of England.

BoKlok and VIVID

BoKlok has partnered with VIVID, the leading provider of affordable homes and housing-related services in the south of England.

We have come together to deliver new modular homes at pace and to introduce a place-making concept that integrates communities and provides sustainable quality for both owner occupiers and affordable tenures.

We are working collaboratively to deliver 300 new modular homes per year. Our five-year agreement will see a joint approach to land, planning and the delivery of new modular homes, which have achieved outstanding recognition in the Nordics.

Mark Perry, Chief Executive at VIVID said, “We’re delighted to announce we’re working with BoKlok on this first of its kind partnership with a housing association, having admired its innovative developments, building both sustainable and high-quality homes.

“VIVID and BoKlok have a common vision and are aligned in our forward-thinking approach, to build more homes across a range of tenures, using the latest approach in modular construction. BoKlok is also the right partner for us with our drive to net-zero carbon.”

BoKlok and Abri

We have entered into a partnership with Abri, one of the largest housing providers in the south of England, to deliver more than 750 modular homes to the region.

Through the partnership, we aim to share our joint knowledge and place-making expertise to accelerate the speed at which homes are built, ensuring more people have access to quality and affordable homes across the south of England (including Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Portsmouth and Southampton).

The new homes will span a range of tenures to offer choice and meet a diverse range of needs, as well as featuring a sustainable build processes to meet energy efficiency standards and help reduce running costs. The partnership will help to increase the supply of modular homes as we work together on land and planning matters.

Gary Orr, Group Chief Executive of Abri said: “Our partnership with BoKlok will achieve our shared ambition to provide homes that are great places to live for people and the planet. We’re committed to helping tackle the housing crisis by delivering high quality, affordable homes at pace that also minimise their impact on the environment.

“Our strategic aim is to provide at least 25 per cent of our new build homes using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and collaboration will be key to achieving this. Our shared values with BoKlok mean that we can really make a difference to meet the demand for affordable homes while creating communities that offer the highest standards of sustainability.”
