Newsletter #4 - January 2022

Hello! from our Project Team at BoKlok on the Lake. And a Happy New Year to our West Durrington neighbours.

As we continue work on site, we wanted to provide you with an update on our Fulbeck Avenue scheme. Many of you will have seen that there has already been a new addition to our site. This is the Sales & Marketing Suite.

This is where we will be hosting all our communications with our home buyers. Come in and say hello!

Meet the team

We hope to be complete on site by Spring 2023. That means we’ll be around for a little while. With this in mind, we thought it’d be a good opportunity for you to meet the team! To the left is Ryan our Senior Site Manager and to the right is Alex our Senior Project Manager.

If you’re passing the site and have any questions, Ryan and Alex will be there and are happy to help.

Site Safety

At BoKlok, safety is our top priority. Please be aware of your surroundings and take note of any safety signage. If you see any suspicious behaviour, vandalism or intruders to the site then please contact the police.

We have surrounded our site with hoarding to ensure safe working and for your protection. Please do not enter the site.

Timeline for the coming months

Here's what to expect on site over the coming months:

January 2022

  • Site Enabling Works: this means we’re now preparing the site for the construction to take place.
  • Temporary site access road finished – in February we’ll begin work on our permanent access road into the site.

February 2022

  • Piling to start - this is the process necessary to put the foundations in for the apartments. They look like large drills that dig deep into the ground. We will be doing all we can to keep noise to a minimum during this time.
  • Lorries will begin carrying away the muck from site to landfill and recycling plants.

Footpath closed

We have closed the footpath next to our temporary access road for safety reasons. Lorries regularly enter and exit the site at this point which makes it very dangerous.

We apologise for the inconvenience but ask that pedestrians use the path on the other side of the road (shown by the green line in the image to the right).

Thank you for your co-operation.
